Tata Power (NSE: TATAPOWER)<\/a> reported its second-quarter 2022 earnings results today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company reported a 21% year-on-year rise in its consolidated revenue to \u20b9102 billion for the quarter ended September 2021.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tata Power had a net profit of \u20b94.21\u00a0billion compared to \u20b93.70\u00a0billion in the previous year of the same quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The renewable energy segment saw its revenues in the quarter rise to \u20b914.9\u00a0billion from \u20b911\u00a0billion a year ago. While the cost of fuel reduced 17.2% on-year during the quarter, the cost of power purchased rose 61% from the year-ago period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
