  • Consolidated Net Profit (PAT): ₹140.6 crore, down 58% year-over-year (YoY) from ₹335 crore in Q1 FY25.

  • Revenue from Operations: ₹3,939 crore, down 19.96% YoY from ₹4,921 crore.

  • EBITDA: ₹178.5 crore, down 58% YoY from ₹424 crore.

  • EBITDA margin: Contracted significantly due to promotional pressure and softer secondary sales.

  • Key Segment Performance:

    • Unitary Cooling Products (room ACs and commercial cooling): Revenue dropped 24.6% YoY to ₹2,868 crore, impacted by unseasonal rains, a delayed summer onset, and early monsoon curtailing peak selling season.

    • Electro-Mechanical Projects & Services: Revenue down 2.9% YoY to ₹922 crore; steady execution in domestic and international projects helped margin stability.

  • Expenses: Total expenses declined 16.09% YoY to ₹3,818 crore.

  • Other Income: Overall total income including other income declined nearly 19.6% to around ₹4,021 crore.

  • Management noted the quarter was marked by unseasonal and unpredictable weather that delayed summer and ended it early, leading to subdued demand for cooling products.

  • Elevated inventory levels due to trade partners stocking ahead of expected strong demand caused temporary production adjustments.

  • Voltas intensified promotional activities to bolster secondary sales, which exerted margin pressure.

  • Despite revenue challengesproject businesses maintained healthy operational efficiency and margin stability through cost controls and timely certifications.

  • The company is focused on market recovery as weather normalizes and consumer demand improves.

  • Voltas Ltd reported Revenues for Q4FY25 of ₹4,768.00 Crores up from ₹4,203.00 Crore year on year, a rise of 13.44%.
  • Total Expenses for Q4FY25 of ₹4,504.00 Crores up from ₹4,084.00 Crores year on year, a rise of 10.28%.
  • Consolidated Net Profit of ₹236.00 Crores up 112.61% from ₹111.00 Crores in the same quarter of the previous year.
  • The Earnings per Share is ₹7.28, up 106.82% from ₹3.52 in the same quarter of the previous year.
  • Profitability was significantly better reflecting the normal peak season for cooling products.

  • EBITDA and margins were higher than in Q1 FY26 due to stronger sales and curtailed promotional intensity.
