Venky’s India Ltd Q4FY23 results out, revenue declines by 15%

Venky’s India Ltd, a part of the VH group, is majorly engaged in poultry breeding and chicken meat processing. The group is the largest player in the regulated poultry market in India.It has 14 express outlets for processed chicken.The group has developed pan India presence with VIL primarily concentrating on Northern region and VHPL on the southern region of India. VIL is one of the largest producers of SPF eggs in Asia. Further, parent breeds developed by Venco Research and Breeding Farm Private Limited (Venco) and Venkateshawara Research and Breeding Farm Private Limited (VRB) (group companies) are the largest selling breed in India as these are suited to Indian agro-climatic and market conditions.

  • Venky’s India Ltd reported Total revenue for Q4 FY23 of ₹1,042 Crore, down from ₹1,229 Crore year on year depicting a decline of 15%.
  • Total Expenses for Q4 FY23 of ₹1,008 Crore down, from ₹1,143 Crore year on year, a decline of 12%.
  • Consolidated Net Profit of ₹25 Crore, down 56% from ₹57 Crore in the same quarter of the previous year.
  • The Earnings per Share is ₹17.91, down 56% from ₹40.72 in the same quarter of the previous year.
