Ludhiana-based Vardhman Textiles reported a consolidated profit-after-tax of INR 105 for the third quarter ended December 2022. The group had reported a profit after tax of INR 432 crore in the year-round period.
Its total income for the quarter under review rose to INR 2,370 crore as against INR 2,603 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year (October-December 2021), a regulatory filing showed.
However, its total expenses also shot up to INR 2192 crore in the same quarter, up from INR 1,984 crore in the year-ago period, the BSE filing showed.
