Revenue for Q1 FY23 has increased by 22% YoY to ₹ 3,548 crores. Profits have fallen by 8% YoY to ₹ 496.09 crores because Total Expenses has grown by 30% YoY to ₹ 3,252.09 crores.
In this quarter’s press release, the management suggested that increase agri commodity prices coupled with resilience to inflationary pressures resulted in strong growth in profits.
