Textiles firm Trident Ltd reported a 32 per cent decline in consolidated profit after tax to INR 144 crore in the third quarter ended in December 2022. The company had posted a consolidated profit after tax of INR 211 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal, Trident Ltd said in a regulatory filing.
Consolidated total income during the period under review stood at INR 1,641 crore as against INR 1,980 crore in the same quarter a year ago, it added. Total expenses were lower at INR 1,367 crore in the third quarter as compared to INR 1,574 crore, it added. Meanwhile the EPS too dropped to INR 0.28 from INR 0.41 in Q2FY22.
