Titan Company (NSE: TITAN) reported second-quarter results for 2022 today.
The TATA group company had total revenue of ₹7,548 crores, which was up by 64% year on year.
The net profit for the second quarter was at ₹641 or ₹7.20 per share crores compared with ₹173 crores or ₹1.97 per share in the same quarter last year.
The Jewellery division witnessed a demand resurgence, registering a 77% in income to ₹6,106 crores compared with ₹3,446 crores in the year-ago quarter.
Managing Director CK Venkataraman said: “Titan’s strong growth this quarter was underpinned by demand recovery being witnessed in all segments. Our stores were fully operational, returning to pre-pandemic normalcy in most parts of the country with a continued focus on health and safety of our customers, business partners and our employees.”
