Cored wires manufacturer Sarthak Metals on Thursday announced its decision to venture into the new business of Industrial Bio-Enzymes. The company said it has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) under the Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India for the transfer of technology and continuous research and development in this area.
Industrial enzymes and natural proteins are used in various industries to optimize production processes. Industrial enzymes are preferred in industrial applications for their thermotolerance and stability in harsh reaction conditions. The rising demand for industrial enzymes in several sectors from biofuels to household cleaning to animal feed is anticipated to drive continued expansion for this industry.
Sarthak Metals Limited is a Bhilai, Chhattisgarh-based company involved in the production of metallurgical cored wires, aluminium flipping coils, and wire feeder machines.
