Praj Industries Limited Q3FY23 Earnings Story

Started in 1985, Praj Industries Ltd has a vast geographical presence with more than 750 references in more than 75 countries and its headquarters in Pune. Although it started as a supplier of an ethanol plant, today it has grown to become a global company which provides multiple solutions that focuses on energy, the environment, and agri-process industry.

Financial Results:

In the period ended December 31, 2022, the company reported a total income of INR 917.73 crores as against INR 590.63 crores which was recorded in the period ended December 31, 2021.

For the period ended December 31, 2022, the company posted a net profit/ (loss) of INR 62.30 crores. This is compared to the net profit / (loss) of INR 37.05 crores as recorded in the period ended December 31, 2021.

As compared to the company’s EPS of INR 2.02 in the period ended December 31, 2021, the company recorded an earnings per share of INR 3.39 in the period ended December 31, 2022.
