Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd Q4FY25; 1% fall in Profits

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited is a Maharatna CPSU and India’s largest electric power transmission company. GoI holds a 51.34% stake in the company as on March 31, 2021. PGCIL was incorporated in 1989 to set up extra-high voltage alternating current and high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission lines.

Financial Results:

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd reported Revenues for Q4FY25 of ₹12,275.00 Crores up from ₹11,978.00 Crore year on year, a rise of 2.48%.

Total Expenses for Q4FY25 of ₹7,580.00 Crores up from ₹7,242.00 Crores year on year, a rise of 4.67%.

Consolidated Net Profit of ₹4,143.00 Crores down 0.55% from ₹4,166.00 Crores in the same quarter of the previous year.

The Earnings per Share is ₹4.45, down 0.67% from ₹4.48 in the same quarter of the previous year.
