Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd Q3FY25; 4% fall in Profits

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited is a Maharatna CPSU and India’s largest electric power transmission company. GoI holds a 51.34% stake in the company as on March 31, 2021. PGCIL was incorporated in 1989 to set up extra-high voltage alternating current and high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission lines.

Financial Results:

Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd reported Revenues for Q3FY25 of ₹11,233.00 Crores down from ₹11,550.00 Crore year on year, a fall of 2.74%.

Total Expenses for Q3FY25 of ₹6,833.00 Crores down from ₹7,114.00 Crores year on year, a fall of 3.95%.

Consolidated Net Profit of ₹3,862.00 Crores down 4.12% from ₹4,028.00 Crores in the same quarter of the previous year.

The Earnings per Share is ₹4.15, down 4.16% from ₹4.33 in the same quarter of the previous year.
