Q2 FY26 Earnings Results
Just Dial Ltd reported revenues of ₹297.9 crore for Q1 FY26, up 6.2% year-on-year (YoY) from ₹280.6 crore. Operating EBITDA increased by 7.2% YoY to ₹86.4 crore, with an improved EBITDA margin of 29.0%, up 28 basis points compared to the prior year.
Other income surged 46.5% YoY to ₹127.3 crore, helped by declining bond yields and growth in the treasury portfolio, representing a 17.2% sequential growth.
Profit Before Tax (PBT) rose 29.3% YoY to ₹198.9 crore, with net profit rising 13.0% YoY to ₹159.6 crore. The effective tax rate normalized at 19.7%, compared to 12.0% in FY25 (which had benefitted from deferred tax reversals).
Operational & Strategic Update
The platform attracted 193.2 million unique visitors, up 6.6% YoY. Total listings increased 10.6% YoY to 49.7 million, with net additions of 938,625 listings. The company saw robust growth in paid campaigns and overall platform engagement, supported by technology and AI-driven intent identification to enhance user experience and business matchmaking.
Advertising expenditures stood at approximately ₹8.5 crore, reflecting sustained investment in brand promotion and customer acquisition.
Outlook
Just Dial is focused on broadening its product offerings with vertical-specific solutions and deepening penetration in the B2B marketplace via JD Mart. Efforts towards digital payments, business management solutions for SMEs, and transaction-oriented services are accelerating transformation from a local search provider to a business enabler.
Despite slight challenges in collection growth, the company’s strong traffic and listing metrics support confidence in long-term monetization and growth opportunities.
