ITC (NSE: ITC) reported its second-quarter earnings results after market hours today.
The company reported an increase in the total income by 4% at ₹15313 crores.
The net profit for the second-quarter stood at ₹3714 crores or ₹3.02 per share compared to ₹3276.48 crores or ₹2.66 per share in the same quarter of the previous year.
The cigarette segment reported a 10.2% growth in revenue at ₹5,642 crores compared with ₹5,121 crores in the same quarter last year.
ITC’s hotel business reported 2.6 times to jump in revenues at ₹295 crores compared with ₹82 crores YoY, while agribusiness revenues fell 7% to ₹2,776 crores from ₹2,985 crores YoY.
