Hemisphere Properties India Ltd, formed as part of the Government of India’s disinvestment of its holding in the erstwhile VSNL (now Tata Communications), reported weaker profitability in Q2FY26.
Financial Highlights:
- Revenues increased 4.35% year-on-year to ₹0.24 crore from ₹0.23 crore.
- Total expenses rose 14.39% to ₹4.61 crore from ₹4.03 crore.
- Consolidated net loss widened to ₹3.62 crore from ₹2.04 crore.
- Earnings per share declined to -₹0.13 from -₹0.07.
Rising operating costs against a very low revenue base led to a deeper quarterly loss despite the small uptick in income.
Outlook:
Hemisphere Properties India Ltd remains dependent on better monetisation of its land/assets and tighter cost control to move towards profitability.
