Bank’s net revenues grew by 7.3% to ₹ 26,509.8 crore for Q3 FY 2022.

Net Revenues, excluding trading income, increased by 10.4% to ₹ 26,550.2 crore.

Trading income increased by 10.6%.

Profit before tax (PBT) increased by 20.3% to ₹ 13,044.7 crore.

Net profit  stands at  ₹ 10,055.2 crore, with an increase of 22.8% for the quarter.

Deposits

As per the Balance Sheet analysis the total deposit for Q4 FY 22 is 1559,21,744 crores, it increased by 16.8%. The total CASA deposits increased by 22.0%.  The savings account deposits stood at ₹ 511,739 crores. For Q4 FY 22 the current account deposits is  ₹ 239,311 crores and Time grew by 12.3% over the corresponding quarter.

HDFC Subsidiaries

HDFC Securities Limited- HDFC bank holds a 96% stake in HSL. The income of HSL increased by 16% to ₹ 509.7 crore. Profit after tax stood at ₹ 235.6 crore.

HDB Financial Services Limited– The bank holds a 95% stake in HDBFSL.  HDBFSL’s net revenue grew by 13.0% to ₹ 7,980.8 crore and Profit after tax stood at was ₹ 1,011.4 crore.

Management Updates

EPS for Q4 FY 22 is  INR18.1 and book value per share increased in the quarter by INR18.6 to INR433.

The bank has developed 18,130 ATMs / Cash Deposit & Withdrawal Machines (CDMs) across 3,188 cities.

The number of employees reached at 141,579 as of March 31, 2022.

Common Equity Tier 1 Capital ratio stood at 16.7% as of March 31, 2022.

Business Updates

 Distribution network is expanded in partnership with Airtel Payments Bank, India Post Payment Bank and Manipal Business Solutions.

The bank has issued 8.2 lakh cards in Q4 FY 2022.
