ICICI Prudential Limited (NSE: ICICIPRULI) reported a Total Income of ₹17,535.13 Crores, a significant boost of 78% growth from the previous year. The Revenue was driven by the Income from Investment which increased by 948% up to ₹ 7,721.84 Crore year on year. Consolidated Net Profit for the business decreased to 23% year over year, to ₹221.56 Crore from ₹312 Crore. The Net Premium collection for this quarter was ₹9464.51 Cr, a slight increase of 4% from previous year.
The Company touched Asset Under Management (AUM) of 2.52 Lakh Crore as of this quarter. However, the operating expenses jumped significantly causing the bottom link to shrink. Also, the New Premium collection dropped to ₹1,547 Crore from ₹1,378 Crore year on year. The share price on the NSE remained flat on Tuesday and closed at ₹487.
