Earnings Summary Of Karur Vysya Bank For Q3 FY23

The Karur Vysya Bank Limited, also referred to as KVB, was founded on July 25, 1916, by M. A. Venkatarama Chettiar and Athi Krishna Chettiar in order to take advantage of the previously untapped market of traders and farmers in and around the Tamil Nadu town of Karur. Later, the bank branched out beyond Karur in search of new commercial opportunities, and it established a presence all over India. Personal, business, and agricultural banking services, as well as services for NRIs and SMBs, are all offered by KVB.

In terms of earnings, Revenue from Interest for Q3 FY23 was ₹1,695.22 crore, a 21% increase from ₹1,404.51 crore in the same period last year. The third quarter’s other income, which contributed ₹317.49 Crore to the Total Revenue. Meanwhile, the Profit Before Tax improved to ₹324.86 Crore from ₹255.49 Crore from the same quarter previous year. The Net Profit was ₹289.29 crore, up 57% from ₹185.48 crore in the same quarter last year. This quarter’s earnings per share was ₹3.60.
