ICICI Securities, one of India’s leading securities firms, reported revenue of ₹879 crore for the Q3 ending December 2022, a decline of 6.6% compared to the same period last year. Net profit for the quarter was ₹281 crore, down 26% year on year. The Net Profit Margin is at 33.78%. The results were due to weak performance across the company’s broking and advisory businesses which were down 1.2% & 56% respectively. The Earnings per share is ₹8.68 for this quarter.
The company’s total customer base increased by 87 Lakh by the end of the quarter, with 3 Lakh new customers. During the quarter, the platform’s total client assets reached 6 lakh crore, of which 3.2 lakh crore belongs to its 76,000+ private wealth clients, which include HNIs, U-HNIs, and Family Offices.
