HFCL Limited (NSE: HFCL) is an Indian telecommunications company that provides end-to-end telecom infrastructure solutions, including optical fiber cables, high-speed broadband networks, and wireless communication systems. The company has a presence in India, Africa, and the Middle East and has been involved in several key projects in India, including the BharatNet project.
In terms of earnings, Revenue from Operations for Q3 FY23 was ₹1,085.84 crore, a 11% decrease from ₹1,215.21 crore in the same period last year. The EBIDTA margin increased from 14.36% in Q3FY22 to 17.80% in Q3FY23. PAT, which was 102 crores in Q3FY23, increased by 25.30% YoY and 20.53% QoQ. PAT margin rose from 7.18% in Q2FY23 to 9.36% in Q3FY23. In Q3FY23, revenue from the Products segment increased to 64% from Q3FY22’s 42%. Strong order book worth more than ₹7000 crores.
Commenting on the Company’s performance, Mr. Mahendra Nahata, Managing Director, HFCL said, “Over the last few quarters, despite the supply chain disruptions witnessed across the globe, we have continued to demonstrate strong business performance with our strategy to tap into new geographies, new customers with new products and shift in revenue mix from Projects to more of Products which has resulted into sustainable revenue and margin expansion.”
