Graphite India Limited (NSE: GRAPHITE) is a leading Indian manufacturer of graphite electrodes used in the steel industry, as well as other carbon and graphite products such as specialty graphite products, power solutions, and carbon composite products. The company was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in Kolkata, India.
Revenue from Operations for Q3 FY23 was ₹701 crore, a 20% decrease from ₹880 crore in the same period last year. The Graphite & Carbon segment generated a total of ₹650 Crore in revenue, or 93% of the Total Income. The Graphite & Carbon segment fell by 21% from the previous year down from ₹824 Crore. The Others segment accounts for remaining percent of revenue in Q3 FY23. A total of ₹51 Crore were contributed by the segment, a sharp decline of 9% from the same quarter last year. The Consolidated Net Profit was ₹53 crore, down 60% from ₹132 crore in the same quarter last year. This quarter’s earnings per share was ₹2.66.
