Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited (NSE: GNFC) is a public sector undertaking, established in 1976, headquartered in Bharuch, Gujarat, India. The company has a diverse business portfolio including fertilizers, chemicals, electronics, and information technology. GNFC operates in various segments, such as Chemicals, Fertilizers, Information Technology (IT), Electronics, and Others. Revenue from Operations for Q3 FY23 of ₹2,673 Crore up from ₹2,380 Crore year on year, a growth of 12%.  Consolidated Net Profit of ₹324 Crore, down 40% from ₹541 Crore in the same quarter of the previous year. Among the revenue segments, the chemicals segment accounted for the largest portion of GNFC’s revenue, contributing 62% of the total revenue. The fertilizers segment contributed 37% of the total revenue, while the Others segment contributed the remaining percent. The chemicals segment of GNFC includes a wide range of products such as caustic soda, methanol, acetic acid, and various other specialty chemicals. In Q3 FY23, the chemicals segment of GNFC recorded a revenue of ₹1,666 crores, which was an increase of 14% compared to the previous year.
