Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd. (NSE:KALPATPOWR) is an Indian engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) company that specializes in power transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipelines, railways, and infrastructure projects. The company was founded in 1981 and is headquartered in Mumbai, India. KPTL operates in more than 50 countries globally, with a focus on emerging markets in Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia. KPTL offers a range of services, including project management, engineering, procurement, and construction, as well as operations and maintenance. The company has completed several large-scale projects, such as the construction of power transmission lines and substations, oil and gas pipelines, and railways.

Kalpataru Power Transmissions (KPTL) announced its Q3FY23 results, with growth in revenue and profitability on both standalone and consolidated levels. Standalone Q3FY23 revenue stood at INR 3,509 crore, up 10% YoY, while EBITDA increased by 6% YoY to INR 307 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 8.7%. PBT (before exceptional) was at INR 166 crore, with a margin of 4.7%, and reported PAT at INR 111 crore, with a margin of 3.2%. The net debt as of December 31, 2022, was at INR 2,053 crore. On a standalone basis, the revenue for 9MFY23 increased by 12% YoY to INR 9,941 crore, while EBITDA increased by 10% YoY to INR 853 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 8.6%. PBT (before exceptional) was at INR 520 crore, with a margin of 5.2%, and reported PAT stood at INR 379 crore, up 84% YoY. The order book as of December 31, 2022, was at INR 41,442 crore, including LMG and Fasttel. KPTL received new orders (including LMG & Fasttel) worth INR 19,487 crore for YTD FY23.

On a consolidated basis, Q3FY23 revenue increased by 3% YoY to INR 4,004 crore, while EBITDA grew by 4% YoY to INR 376 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 9.4%. PBT (before exceptional) was at INR 161 crore, with a margin of 4.0%, and reported PAT stood at INR 109 crore. The net debt as of December 31, 2022, was at INR 2,896 crore. On a consolidated basis, the revenue for 9MFY23 increased by 8% YoY to INR 11,479 crore, while EBITDA increased by 8% YoY to INR 1,041 crore, with an EBITDA margin of 9.1%. PBT (before exceptional) was at INR 450 crore, with a margin of 3.9%, and reported PAT stood at INR 295 crore, with a margin of 2.6%. The revenue of LMG (Sweden) and Fasttel (Brazil) stood at INR 801 crore and INR 316 crore, respectively, in 9MFY23.
