Godrej Consumer Products Limited (NSE: GODREJCP) reported its second-quarter 2022 results today.
The company’s profit increased by 4.6% to ₹479 crores as compared to ₹458 crores in the same quarter a year-ago period. While its revenue grew by 8.5% to ₹3163.6 crores as against ₹2915.1 crores in the corresponding quarter in the previous year.
Godrej’s home care segment saw a growth of 7%, while the personal care segment grew by 12%.
“We have delivered steady sales growth. Consolidated sales grew by 9% and EBITDA declined by 1%. We
continued our growth momentum and delivered another quarter of double-digit 2-year CAGR of 10%.
We saw steady sales growth in the Home Care and Personal Care categories. Home Care grew by 5%
and Personal Care continued its strong momentum, growing by 10%. The sub-categories within Home
Care and Personal Care saw broad-based growth” said Nisaba Godrej, Executive Chairperson,
