Central Depository Services (India) Ltd, (NSE:CDSL) also known as CDSL, is a leading securities depository in India that provides depository services, including account opening, dematerialization, processing delivery and receipt instructions, account statement, and other value-added services. The company was established in 1999 and is headquartered in Mumbai. CDSL is regulated by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and has a wide network of depository participants (DPs) spread across the country to offer depository services to investors.

In the period ended December 2022, the company reported total income of Rs. 160.87 crores, which is a decrease from the previous quarter’s total income of Rs. 169.94 crores. The company’s total expenditure for the same period was Rs. 56.57 crores, which is also a decrease from the previous quarter’s total expenditure of Rs. 57.63 crores. As a result, the company’s PBIDT (Profit Before Interest, Depreciation, and Tax) for the period ended December 2022 was Rs. 104.31 crores, which is lower than the previous quarter’s PBIDT of Rs. 112.31 crores.

The company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs. 74.77 crores for the period ended December 2022, which is a decrease from the previous quarter’s PAT of Rs. 80.46 crores. The PATM (Profit After Tax Margin) for the period ended December 2022 was 52.96%, which is lower than the previous quarter’s PATM of 54.02%.

Overall, the company’s financial performance has shown a slight decline in the period ended December 2022 as compared to the previous quarter. However, the company’s PBIDT and PATM for the period ended December 2022 are higher than the values for the same period in the previous year.
