Capri Global Capital Limited (NSE: CGCL) is an Indian non-banking finance company (NBFC) that provides financial services such as loans, insurance, wealth management and investment banking. It was founded in 2007 and is headquartered in Mumbai. The company operates through its subsidiary companies and has a presence in multiple cities across India. Its loan offerings include personal loans, business loans, and micro-finance loans.
In the third quarter of the fiscal year 2023, the company’s consolidated assets under management (AUM) increased by 50% year-over-year to INR 86,525 million. The share of retail loans in their portfolio improved to 79.1% from 74.4% in the second quarter of the same year. The company saw a strong increase in loan disbursals, which were up 43% YoY, with gold loans being the largest contributor.
Capri Global also expanded their live gold loan branches from 182 to 449 in the same quarter, achieving an AUM of INR 7,152 million within 4.5 months of their official launch. The origination of car loans also increased 3.1 times to reach INR 16,920 million, with a net fee contribution of INR 333 million in Q3FY23. The company’s net interest income increased by 18% YoY to INR 1,610 million. The gross Stage 3 ratio declined to 2.32% and the standard restructured assets declined to 1.8% of their AUM.
