Bharti Airtel announced its Q3FY23 results, with consolidated revenues of Rs 35,804 crore, a 19.9% YoY growth. The company’s EBITDA was Rs 18,601 crore, a 52.0% margin, with a 205 bps YoY improvement. The EBIT was Rs 9,260 crore, a 25.9% margin, with a 462 bps YoY improvement. Net income before exceptional items was Rs 1,994 crore, a 147.4% YoY growth, while the net income after exceptional items was Rs 1,588 crore, a 91.1% YoY growth. The company’s net debt to EBITDA was 2.82 times, a slight increase from 2.67 times in the previous year.

The India business reported a quarterly revenue of ₹24,962 crore, up 19.4% YoY, driven by continued 4G customer addition and increase in ARPU. Gopal Vittal, Bharti Airtel MD, said the company delivered consistent and competitive growth across all its businesses and added 6.4 million 4G customers with an industry-leading ARPU of ₹193. The company’s 5G rollout is on track to cover all towns and key rural areas by March 2024.
