Bharat Electronics Limited (NSE: BEL) is an Indian state-owned aerospace and defense company, founded in 1954. It is headquartered in Bangalore, India. The company is involved in the design, development, and manufacture of a wide range of products including radar systems, sonar systems, defense communication systems, and electronic voting machines. BEL is one of the largest defense electronics companies in India and has several manufacturing units and research and development centers across the country.
Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defense PSU, reported strong Q3FY23 financial results with a turnover of Rs 11,005.89 crore, a growth of 24.46% YoY. During the quarter, BEL’s turnover was Rs 4,046.11 crore, and its PBT and PAT stood at Rs 2,203.39 crore and Rs 1,641.31 crore, respectively, with YoY growth of 35.07% and 35.97%. The company also reported a YoY increase in PAT to Rs 598.77 crore. The board of directors recommended an interim dividend of Rs 0.60 per share and the company’s order book position as of January 1, 2023 was Rs 50,116 crore.
