Adani Transmission Limited (NSE: ADANITRANS) is a subsidiary of the Adani Group and is one of the largest private power transmission companies in India. The company is focused on building and operating transmission infrastructure to support India’s power sector and is involved in the transmission of electricity across multiple states in India. Adani Transmission Limited reported its Q3FY23 results showing a 16% increase in revenue to Rs 3,037 crore. The operational EBITDA stood at Rs 1,318 crore, with a strong 73% upside in PAT at Rs 478 crore, largely due to a one-time income of Rs 240 crore from a regulatory order. The cash profit of Rs 955 crore rose by 34%. For 9MFY23, the revenue increased by 20% to Rs 9,117 crore and the operational EBITDA grew by 10% to Rs 3,772 crore. The EBITDA grew by 7% to Rs 4,395 crore and the cash profit was up 7% at Rs 2,433 crore. The Managing Director, Anil Sardana, stated that the company is a significant player in the transmission and distribution sector and aims to be the best-in-class in the industry.
