$KBR received a contract for maintenance, planning and industrial services from $IP, a global producer of renewable packaging and paper products. The contract will be performed over the next four years. $KBR will provide industrial maintenance services of around 700,000 labor hours at $IP's offices in Svetogorsk, Russia.
$KBR said the SOCAR-KBR Limited Liability Company (SKLLC) JV has been awarded a Front-End Engineering Design contract for the topsides of the Absheron Early Production Project. The value of the contract will be booked into the backlog of unfilled orders for $KBR's Engineering & Construction business segment in 4Q17.
$KBR said its global government services business KBRwyle will provide astronaut medical support services for the European Space Agency's (ESA's) European Astronaut Center Space Medicine Office in Cologne, Germany. This work will be performed over three years with the potential for a two-year extension.
$KBR said its global Government Services business, KBRwyle, has booked over $16MM in contract variations for four of its acquisition and longer term sustainment services contracts with the Australian Department of Defence. Expected revenue from this will be included in the 3Q17 backlog of unfilled orders for the Government Services segment.
$KBR's global Government Services business, KBRwyle, received a contract modification from Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Europe, Africa and Southwest Asia , to provide base operations support services at Isa Air Base in the Kingdom of Bahrain. This is the third option year on the contract, which was originally awarded in June 2014.
$KBR has entered into an agreement to acquire Sigma Bravo Pty Ltd, a provider of Information and Communication Technology services and solutions to the Australian Defence Force. Sigma Bravo will become a KBRwyle company reporting within $KBR's Government Services segment and will maintain its current structure to ensure business continuity.
KBRwyle, the Government Service business unit of $KBR, said it received two task order modifications valued $116MM to provide logistics support services to the US Army in Europe and the Arabian Peninsula. The company was also awarded a $46-MM task order modification to continue providing logistics support to the US military in Kuwait and the UAE.
$KBR has been awarded the Facilities Management Services Operations contract by the UK Ministry of Defence. The initial period of this contract is three years, with associated revenue of $48MM, with the option to extend by up to two years for a total maximum value of $80MM.
$KBR said the award of a $515MM fixed price with award fee contract to KBR Diego Garcia, LLC will stand. This is consistent with a decision by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). The work on the contract, awarded in May by Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific, will begin in November 2017.
$KBR said its Government Services business, KBRwyle, has won a seat on the NASA Research, Engineering, Mission Integration Services (REMIS) contract to provide research and engineering products and services for the International Space Station. The contract has a five-year base period and a two-year option with a maximum ceiling value of $500MM.
$KBR's Government Service business, KBRwyle, was awarded a $91MM base operating support services contract by the Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic. Under the terms of this contract, KBRwyle will support services within Bahrain and the UAE. The work is expected to be performed over the next eight years if all option years are exercised.
$KBR said its global Government Services business, KBRwyle, has been awarded a $441MM contract for base operations support services by Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic. KBRwyle will provide support in areas including air operations and vehicles and equipment. The contract has a one-year base period and seven one-year options.
$KBR received a contract from Kumul Petroleum Holdings Ltd. for conceptual development and feasibility study services for an energy hub in the Kikori region of the Gulf Province of Papua New Guinea. Revenue associated with this project will be booked into backlog of unfilled orders for $KBR's E&C Business Segment in 3Q17.
Technology firm $KBR has received a contract from OMV Offshore Abu Dhabi GmbH for management of front-end engineering for the Hail & Ghasha Development project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Under the terms of the 24-month contract, KBR will provide project management consultancy services. The financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
$KBR received pre-front end engineering design (FEED) and project support services contracts from BP for the development of the Tortue / Ahmeyim field offshore Mauritania and Senegal. Revenue from this contract is undisclosed and will be booked into backlog for $KBR's Engineering & Construction business segment in 3Q17.
$KBR received a Project Management Consultancy (PMC) contract from Occidental of Abu Dhabi Ltd. on behalf of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for management of the Front End Engineering and Design Services phase of the Dalma Gas Field Development and the Detailed Design and Surveys phase of the Hail & Ghasha Islands project at Abu Dhabi, UAE.
