$XRX said it expects fiscal 2018 GAAP earnings from continuing operations to be in the range of $2.30 per share to $2.50 per share. Adjusted earnings are estimated to be between $3.50 per share and $3.70 per share. Fully year non-GAAP operating margin is forecasted to be in the range of 13% to 14%.
$XRX, the photocopier company, reported improved financial results in 4Q17. Net loss narrowed to $0.76 per share from $3.3 per share last year. Non-GAAP earnings moved up 4% to $1.04 per share. Revenues came in at $2.75Bil, broadly unchanged from the prior-year level. Financial performance has been impacted by high costs and muted sales growth.
$IBM said it expects to deliver operating EPS of about $13.80 for 2018. The company also expects free cash flow of about $12Bil, resulting in free cash flow realization of over 100%. Additionally, for 2018, revenue growth is expected at current spot rates.
For FY17, $IBM generated free cash flow of $13Bil, excluding Global Financing receivables. The company also returned $9.8Bil to shareholders through $5.5Bil in dividends and $4.3Bil of gross share repurchases. $IBM ended 4Q17 with $12.6Bil in cash, while debt totaled $46.8Bil, including Global Financing debt of $31.4Bil.
Big Blue $IBM reported its first ever revenue growth in five years, with 4Q17 revenue growth of 3.5% YoY to $22.5Bil, driven by cloud computing business and artificial intelligence investments. However, $IBM reported a net loss of $1.05Bil or $1.14 per share, impacted by a one-time charge of $5.5Bil associated with the enactment of U.S. tax reform.
For FY18, $PTC expects total revenue in the range of $1.23-1.25Bil, while GAAP EPS is expected in the range of $0.28-0.37 and non-GAAP EPS in the range of $1.29-1.39. For 2Q18, the company expects total revenue in the range of $300-305MM, with GAAP EPS expected in the range of $0.01-0.04 and non-GAAP EPS expected in the range of $0.28-0.32.
Computer software and services company $PTC swung to profit in 1Q18, driven by strong bookings in the quarter and higher revenue. The company reported a profit of $13.87MM or $0.12 per share compared to a loss of $9.14MM or $0.08 loss per share a year earlier. Revenue climbed 7.1% to $306.64MM. Excluding items, $PTC earned $0.31 per share.
$NSP President Richard Rawson will retire on May 18, 2018, after having served as an executive officer for over 28 years. Insperity also announced the appointment of James Allison as SVP of gross profit operations, which will also be effective on May 18, 2018.
