$CELG's research and development expenses for 3Q15 increased by $629.4MM to $1.31Bil from last year. The increase was primarily due to $680.4MM rise in expenses related to collaboration arrangements, as well as rise in activity in support of its early- to mid-stage product pipeline, partly offset by fall in general research activity.
