Illinois-based holding company $WBA reported sales growth on a comparable store basis of 2.2% for its Retail Pharmacy US segment in 2Q16, driven by increased market share. Adjusted GM increased 10BP to 27.7% primarily due to procurement efficiencies. This resulted in $6Bil of adjusted gross profit, up 2.8%.
