Breakfast cereal maker $GIS said that during 3Q16, in advance of planned debt financing, it entered into $400MM of treasury locks with an avg. fixed rate of 2.1% due Feb. 15, 2017. The net notional value of commodity derivatives was $343.4MM as of Feb. 28, 2016, of which $146.9MM related to energy inputs & $196.5MM related to agricultural inputs.
