$APA, which competes with $APC, $XOM and $BP, said that in 2015, it reduced its debt levels from year-end 2014 by $2.5Bil ending the year with $8.8Bil of total debt. The company retained $1.5Bil of cash, which could be utilized to further pay down debt. $APA ended the year with net debt of $7.3Bil.
