Healthcare benefits company $AET reported an increase in 2Q16 earnings driven by increases in operating earnings and net realized capital gains. Net income was $790.8MM or $2.23 per share in 2Q16 versus $731.8MM or $2.08 per share in 2Q15. Total revenue rose to $16Bil from last year. Operating earnings were $783.3MM or $2.21 per share in 2Q16.
