Industrial products company $JCI announced on Jan. 25, 2016, that it entered into a merger agreement with Tyco. Under the terms, each outstanding share of $JCI's common stock will be converted into the right to receive either one ordinary share of the combined company or an amount in cash equal to $34.88. The merger will close around FY16-end.
