Property casualty insurance provider $WRB reported lower earnings in 2Q16 compared to 2Q15, hurt by higher expenses. Net income was $109MM or $0.85 per diluted share compared to $123MM or $0.95 per diluted share last year. Total revenue in the quarter grew about 3.7% from the same period last year to $1.86Bil.
