$AA's provision for depreciation, depletion, and amortization for 2015 declined by 7% from last year. The fall was mostly due to favorable foreign currency movements due to stronger USD and absence of depreciation, depletion, and amortization related to divestiture and/or permanent closure of 5 smelters, 6 rolling mills, refinery, and 1 rod mill.
