Information technology products and services provider $HPE reported higher 2Q16 results helped by lower cost and expenses. $HPE said net income rose 5% to $320MM, or $0.18 per share from $267MM or $0.15 per share a year ago. Revenue rose 1% to $12.7Bil. Excluding items, $HPE earned $0.42 per share.
