Insurance company $HIG reported 4Q15 net income of $421MM or $1.01 per diluted share, up 10.2% versus $382MM or $0.86 per diluted share, helped by lower costs and expenses. Core earnings rose 4% to $445MM, mainly due to improved Commercial Lines, P&C Other, and Corporate segment results. Revenue fell 2.3% to $4.5Bil.
