Airline company $LUV said it will start new international service between Los Angeles (LAX) and 3 airports in Mexico's coastal resort regions. The service is scheduled to begin Dec. 4, subject to approvals of the Mexican government.

Oil field services company $HAL reported a 4Q16 loss, mainly hurt by lower commodity prices. The company reported quarterly net loss of $149MM, or $0.17 per share, compared with a loss of $28MM, or $0.03 per share, during 4Q15. Total revenue increased 5% sequentially to $4Bil.
On Dec. 2016, $CBU entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Northeast Retirement Services , Inc. (NRS) for approx. $147MM in company stock and cash. The company is expected to close the deal during 1Q17, pending both regulatory and NRS shareholders approval.
