$MSFT reported a rise in 1Q16 earnings helped by lower provision for income taxes. Net income was $4.62Bil or $0.57 per share, up from $4.54Bil or $0.54 per share last year. Revenue dropped to $20.38Bil from $23.20Bil. Results were driven by strong execution of new devices, Windows 10, office 365 and Azure.
