Automotive retailer $AN said that it saw a benefit from its capital allocation strategy which included acquisitions and share repurchase. For 2Q16, the company reported revenue of $5.4Bil, up 4% vs. $5.2Bil in 2Q15. The company's total retail new vehicle unit sales were flat and on same-store basis, retail new vehicle unit sales were down 5%.

$WFC agreed to hike its payout in a class-action settlement over unauthorized accounts by $32 million to $142 million for its retail sales practices. The settlement will now include customers who were impacted as early as May 2002.
