$HP said its US Land drilling operations generated approx. $63MM in segment operating income during 2Q16. The number of revenue days declined by approx. 20% versus 1Q16, resulting in an average of close to 106 rigs generating revenue days during 2Q16. On average approx. 84 rigs were under term contract and approx. 22 rigs worked in the spot market.
