Data storage devices maker $SNDK reported a fall in 3Q15 earnings due to a 17% drop in revenue. Net income was $133MM or $0.65 per share, down from $263MM or $1.09 per share in the same period of last year. Revenue fell to $1.45Bil from $1.75Bil. Gross margin fell to 42% from 47%.
$SBUX launched its annual “Starbucks for Life” competition in the U.S. and Canada. The winner of the competition will receive a credit of one drink or food item per day for a duration of 30 years.
$T shares rose 1.8%, as a big boost for the S&P 500. The company said its new streaming television service DirectTV has so far exceeded expectations.
