$BGG, which makes air-cooled gasoline engines primarily for outdoor power equipment, reported a lower quarterly profit, hurt by a trade name impairment charge. The company reported 4Q16 earnings of $5.35MM, or $0.12 per share, down from $20.10MM, or $0.45 per share a year ago. Revenue fell 6% to $502MM. $BGG took a charge of $2.68MM in the quarter.
