Manufacturer of personal care electrical products $HELE posted lower 1Q17 earnings, hurt by higher SG&A expenses and asset impairment charges compared to 1Q16. Net income was $19.03MM or $0.68 per diluted share compared to $20.41MM or $0.70 per diluted share last year. Sales were $347.94MM, up from $345.35MM in 1Q16. Adjusted diluted EPS was $1.27.
