Biggest U.S. mortgage lender $WFC reported a 4% decline in 2Q16 earnings due to wider provision for credit losses and a rise in non-interest expense as well as economic, capital markets and interest rate uncertainty. Net income fell to $5.17Bil or $1.01 per share from $5.36Bil or $1.03 per share last year. Total revenue grew 4% to $22.16Bil.
