American technology company $HPQ reported lower earnings for 1Q16 hurt by lower revenues. $HPQ said net income from continuing operations fell 16% to $0.7Bil, or $0.36 per share compared to $0.8Bil or $0.41 per share a year ago. Revenue fell 12% to $12.2Bil. Excluding items, $HPQ earned $0.36 per share.
