Sporting goods retailer $DKS reported a 7.9% jump in 2Q16 earnings driven by higher sales. Net income rose to $91.42MM or $0.82 per share from $90.84MM or $0.77 per share last year. The latest quarter EPS exceeded the company's expectations provided on May 19, 2016 of $0.62-0.72. Net sales grew to $1.97Bil from $1.82Bil.
